I agree with Sir Ken that the education system is giving more value to the Academic and the system is saying that only the students who are successfully completed the Academics will be the only success full once and they even show that in the video too. But, I totally disagree with the system and Sir Ken at this point that the students who have more interests in Non-Academics are not successful. Even though, a person like Thomas Nast who is a painter was not good at academics but he is successful without any academic. It proves that you don’t need academics education to be successful in your life. In this modern world there are a lot of Sportsman, Artist, Singers, Dancers who did not value education they just did what they think they should be doing and now most of them are popular and are enjoying their life. There's nothing like that they are regretting that why did they choose this career or why didn't they concentrated on the academics. For the future students I would suggest that there should be equal amount of opportunity to choose(Academic or Non-Academic) any side in the school, there shouldn't be "you should take these courses, It should be students choice that what he wants to choose". In my life when I was in my home country, In there until you are out of the school you have to do the courses that they tell you and they give you all the courses and you can't even tell them what courses you want, they don't care about your choice and the courses go along the whole years, it's not half semester long. In the middle you have to do an Exam and then in the end you have to do the exam that will decide that what marks you get. It doesn't matter what you got along the course in the semester. The final marks will be decided by the final exam. I meant to say is that there is no perfect education system in the world, but people like you and me can make it better, if we try." Nothing is impossible in the world if we try to do it".
In conclusion, I have only one question that why the system is giving more value to the academic education?

Hi Everyone. My name is Kamaljit Singh and I am from India. I like to make new friends but unfortunately I am a bit shy. In past few years everyone was so friendly to me, but I kept on ignoring because I was new to Canada and don't know a lot of English.
I came to Canada in 2011 with my parents and a younger brother. Whenever my family is together we go to different places like beach, fairs and a lot more. I love music and dance, and I am even in a dance group outside the school and this year, deciding to join the dance group in the school. Like elders says you have to lose something to gain something, that way I won't be able to play Cricket this year.
Some of my characteristics are that I am energetic, hard worker especially when we are doing a team activity. For example, Last year I was in school's cricket team and our team had pretty good team building skills and we won the Surrey Interschool Cricket Championship that was a relief after a lot of hard work.
In conclusion, I am enjoying my life as I am progressing in it and don't take life too seriously, enjoy it too.
