"Is that you got, kid?" said the coach yelling at me, "If you want to win the Championship you need to work way more harder than this."
My heart was beating so fast like a snowball coming down from a hill. In that time, I had only heard that practice makes a man perfect, but my coach have proved it to me. He was a one of a king, no one can trust his mood. Students were shaking like a leaf in front of him, but once you starts to know him, then you realize he's not that bad either.
I asked " How was your sports experience," but he didn't reply, I asked again "Coach tell us about your experience".
He said in peaceful way "It's not the right time, now you have to concentrate on your practice".
"Once you win this Championship you'll know all by yourself" he reply.
I felt a pain in his words, like he was hiding something, he was quite when I asked him. It was like that something bad happened to him.
On the other hand, I was in a dance club too and the coach in my club said " you have another competition coming up in the January and we still have a month to practice."
But unfortunately, the date for my athletic competition was at the same day. There was a sign of turning white on my face. Both of the events was important to me as learning important to student. The good thing was that the timing of both events was different. My sport championship was in the afternoon and the dance was at evening. My team have to be really quick and win the championship as soon as possible.
"I have a sport championship on the day of our competition," I said to my coach with a frown on my forehead.
"That could be a problem" my coach said, "don't worry, I'll pick you up from your competition," he said,"tell me where is your competition and what time?" he was as confident as a bird confident on it's flying.
                                                                          ONE MONTH LATER
"The day have come" the coach said.
All the athletes was ready and confident. When the game was about to start and I was in the field, I was scared, the other athletes was looking tough and the audience was cheering, clapping and whistling, it was like the whole world is there for you. Then referee came and started the game. I took the name of my good and took blessing from them and start playing. You could say that it was a lucky day for me. I was the one who got most wickets. It was the last over of the match and I was the last bowler. The batsman was on the field and was ready to play, and they needed only 20 Runs to win. I balled and first 2 bowls was empty he was not able hit them. But then he hit a four, My team was loosing hope. But when in the next ball I got the batsman out, they got their confidence back. The last batsman was now ready to play and he hit a six in his first bowl. hey needed only 10 Runs in 2 balls. I pitched the batsman hit six again. Now 4 runs and only 1 bowl. I was a shock but when I bowl the batsman came foreword to hit the ball and he misses and he got out. The audience started to whistle, clap and they just went crazy. That was the sound of our victory. In 5 hours our game was finished. Unwillingly, I had to leave. My coach drove the car as fast as a cheetah and I was on time for the competition and then the got ready. I went on stage and the stadium was filled with people. The song started and We performed and we almost lost the competition, but by the grace of the god we won that competition too. It was the best day of my life when I won twice will all my team's effort.
The whole team celebrated and my athletes coach said smilingly "You have asked me a question about my experience", "how do you feel after winning?"
"I felt like that I am the king of the world," I said joyfully.
I kept on winning my competition and became famous.
"I felt the same as you do right now," said the coach proudly, "You'll be a great and responsible man," said my coach.
My life is no the most interesting but still love to have this life.
At last I just want to say is that everything is possible in the world If you have support of others.

I agree with Sir Ken that the education system is giving more value to the Academic and the system is saying that only the students who are successfully completed the Academics will be the only success full once and they even show that in the video too. But, I totally disagree with the system and Sir Ken at this point that the students who have more interests in Non-Academics are not successful. Even though, a person like Thomas Nast who is a painter was not good at academics but he is successful without any academic. It proves that you don’t need academics education to be successful in your life. In this modern world there are a lot of Sportsman, Artist, Singers, Dancers who did not value education they just did what they think they should be doing and now most of them are popular and are enjoying their life. There's nothing like that they are regretting that why did they choose this career or why didn't they concentrated on the academics. For the future students I would suggest that there should be equal amount of opportunity to choose(Academic or Non-Academic) any side in the school, there shouldn't be "you should take these courses, It should be students choice that what he wants to choose". In my life when I was in my home country, In there until you are out of the school you have to do the courses that they tell you and they give you all the courses and you can't even tell them what courses you want, they don't care about your choice and the courses go along the whole years, it's not half semester long. In the middle you have to do an Exam and then in the end you have to do the exam that will decide that what marks you get. It doesn't matter what you got along the course in the semester. The final marks will be decided by the final exam. I meant to say is that there is no perfect education system in the world, but people like you and me can make it better, if we try." Nothing is impossible in the world if we try to do it".
In conclusion, I have only one question that why the system is giving more value to the academic education?

Hi Everyone. My name is Kamaljit Singh and I am from India. I like to make new friends but unfortunately I am a bit shy. In past few years everyone was so friendly to me, but I kept on ignoring because I was new to Canada and don't know a lot of English.
I came to Canada in 2011 with my parents and a younger brother. Whenever my family is together we go to different places like beach, fairs and a lot more. I love music and dance, and I am even in a dance group outside the school and this year, deciding to join the dance group in the school. Like elders says you have to lose something to gain something, that way I won't be able to play Cricket this year.
Some of my characteristics are that I am energetic, hard worker especially when we are doing a team activity. For example, Last year I was in school's cricket team and our team had pretty good team building skills and we won the Surrey Interschool Cricket Championship that was a relief after a lot of hard work.
In conclusion, I am enjoying my life as I am progressing in it and don't take life too seriously, enjoy it too.
